Crocodile – Nature’s Fearsome Smile

Is interactive
Crocodiles can have up to 40 sets of teeth over their lifetime. But keeping those powerful jaws clean is no solo task. After a meal, crocodiles are known to lie still with their mouths open, allowing a small bird called the Nile Plover to pick out leftover food stuck between their teeth. It’s a fascinating example of mutualism in the wild—clean teeth for the croc, and a snack for the bird!
