Stargazing is an act or practice of a stargazer, one who observes the stars. In the vast outer space, there are millions of stars and galaxies that are yet to be discovered. The mere vastness of the space is non definitive. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is only 100,000 light years in diameter. Think the Milky Way is big? It's puny compared to M87, an elliptical galaxy 980,000 light years in diameter. And let's not even get into Hercules A, which is 1.5 million light years across.

The Planetarium of our Vadodara city has always pushed me towards imagining standing in front of stars and planets and galaxies seeing them up close. This vue will give you an idea of what it feels like standing amidst distant stars and planets and galaxies, feel like. Hope you have fun!
